Some good advice on 1940's golf equipment

Learning golf occurs best at the time you first take it up. If you have bad golfing habits today, the learning of such practices might have occured when you first took up golf. However, all is not lost. Bad habits can be reversed quite easily.

Most of the time, wrist action that's not right is responsible for failure to get the shot. The left wrist should be maintained flat vis a vis your left forearm's back side and the back of the left hand, the shoulders' turn arc is the most that the club swing should be.

Understand the green to the full extent possible. If there is a hill on the green, expect the golf ball to roll away from it. Also, expect the ball to roll towards a small lake or other kind of watery place. These fact need to be allowed for when playing golf.
